Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum, my name is Rich Capeless, I run a jazz record blog named Deep Groove Mono (dgmono.com). I am also historian for jazz recording engineer Rudy Van Gelder, and I built a website dedicated to his work (rvglegacy.org).
I recently began my adventure in tube equipment, scoring a clean second-hand Luxman SQ-N150 integrated amplifer. It's 10 watts per channel and I am looking to pair it with some high efficiency speakers. Of the many recommendations I received, a friend suggested Omega. I absolutely adore the aesthetics of them, and from what I have read, I understand they are great for jazz. I actually found a beautiful second-hand pair of Super Alnico Monitors for a great price, and am close to pulling the trigger on them.
